The Sales Representative (SR) is responsible for the sales results of certain products (vaccines portfolio) within their territory.
The sales results are delivered through agreed communication and strategy. Majority of the interactions with customers (healthcare professionals) are occurring during face-
to-face meetings or calls and occasionally during group communications (e.g. : round tables) and special events (outside of the assigned territory as well).
The daily communication with customers is focused on product knowledge and disease awareness. The SR is working independently but monitors the environment and delivers the feedback and cooperates with Marketing or other sales representatives.
Achieves the sales objectives set up for given accounts in the assigned territory
Personally promotes assigned products in the way of face-to-face meetings / calls, group communications (round tables, presentations, lectures, symposia etc.) and special events
Effectively uses selling skills techniques, promotional materials and tailors detailing to the need of the client
Communicates agreed strategy and messages
Follows-up on agreed actions with customers
Develops and implements differentiated and high-value services in their territory that promotes and reinforces the image of MSD
Monitors budget development in the defined market region
Conducts business as well as medical training / learning meetings with key customers within the assigned territory
Identifies and builds strong relationships with customers and influencers concerning all products for which they are responsible in all the key accounts within their territory
Continuously improves their own product and market knowledge
Analyses and develops knowledge of competitors (strengths and weaknesses)
Identifies and communicates new sales growth opportunities as well as sales decline threats
Expertise Required / Core Competences
Education background in Science / Pharmacy Degree Advantage
Previous pharmaceutical and commercial experience Mandatory
Previous experience with pediatrics’ portfolio and / or gynecological products Advantage

Ability to use computers with ease
Knowledge of English Advantage
Driver License Category B
