Amazon is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to help us define and implement our HR technology strategy worldwide. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will own and execute digital document management (DDM) solutions to build scale, efficiency, and customer experience.
Types of projects include country expansion, new feature launches, and enhancements. You will work globally with business owners, technology, and HR partners at all levels to understand digital document strategy, requirements and timelines, in alignment to global HR and DDM objectives.
You will own the relationship with our business owners to ensure their requirements are clearly captured, documented and communicated utilizing existing agile and waterfall processes.
You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations.
This position requires that the Business Systems Analyst also have strong functional knowledge and experience with the HCM Lifecycle.
Your specific responsibilities will include :
Deliver technology solutions Implement global technologies and services to meet long term HR and DDM business needs; partner and consult with the business to identify and define business requirements and to initiate and prioritize enhancement, gap analysis, and prepare functional specifications
Requirements Coordinate the collection and documentation of global business requirements, user acceptance test (UAT) plans and use cases
Executing corporate-wide initiatives Assemble resources, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes associated with program roll-
out and ongoing support keeping key stakeholders in the loop
Driving operational excellence Drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization;
build HR processes and tools that ensure a high quality employee experience as well as compliance with policies and regulations
Subject matter expert Develop deep knowledge of the HR and DDM downstream / upstream systems utilized by Amazon, advise the business on best practices and global requirements for optimizing the use of these systems
Develop support model Provide transition to production support for business owned rules, processes, and maintain production support documentation, design business processes and associated support structures that align with technology solutions
4+ years of HR / HR systems / payroll related experience
4+ years relevant program / project management / business analyst experience
Working knowledge of HCM systems as a SME or Business Analyst
Bachelor's degree in business or technology related field
Experience implementing and maintaining systems and processes in large-scale, complex environments
Advanced business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating / deploying solutions to end users, writing user acceptance test scripts and facilitating UAT
Agile project methodology background
Strong ability to negotiate / propose effective and practical business solutions
Strong problem solving skills ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action with sustainable solution
Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations
