JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description Summary
You will join the Test System Engineering team (TSE) and will be responsible for the gas turbine engine test facilities and test enabling hardware - fluid, compressed air and structural systems installed in the test cell required to support turboprop engine testing.
The candidate will be responsible for the systems in terms of design and implementation of new systems, upgrading the current once, helping the test and engineering team to drive the engine test campaign correctly.
In the role of Lead Engineer-Testing you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and impact short-term and some long-term business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities
Project management - Lead design efforts, either with internal or external resources, and support projects through fabrication, installation, and commissioning
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to GE procedures, product and program requirements
Ensure compliance to GE Aviation Design Practices to drive quality of design and component / system capability
Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of components and systems
Communicate with program leadership on project status, escalating issues and proposing solutions to meet customer deliverables
Engage broader engineering teams to resolve issues as needed
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's / Master's degree (Aerospace Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
Experience in Engineering
Fluent English
Experience with aero-engine testing, operations or test cells
Ability to perform engine / test cell troubleshooting based on the protocol exchange
Experience with leading engine / components tests of aerospace or industrial products or experience with gas turbines operation
Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of project management and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Ability to write design procurement specifications
