Global Services EMEA is the Johnson & Johnson Shared Service Center in Europe, delivering compliant financial services to J&J affiliates across the EMEA region.
This position is responsible for Direction or A2R function in the regional GS center, Regional process ownership and functional management of team of 200+ fianace associates within Account to Report team.
Core responsibilities :
The EMEA Account to Report team (services to 90+ MRCs, team of 200+ associates)
Overseeing GFS A2R operations from a strategic perspective
Liaising with key Business partners (Regional Team, Cluster FDs, country FDs and compliance) to manage qualitative & quantitative service levels
Representing EMEA A2R on the global A2R council
Driving continuous improvement through enhanced cost effectiveness & pursuit of service excellence
Ensuring adherence to global DTPs and compliance regulations
Ensuring standardization of accounting processes across countries and clusters
Ensuring effective communication with all SSC stakeholders, including Corporate, the wider finance community and SSC customers
Supporting career development programs
Ensuring compliance with policy & procedural directives within the A2R
Ensuring that all policies, activities & the deployment of resources within the SSC are consistent with its mission
Responsible for planning & execution of future SCOPE expansion plans for complete A2R function (Revenue, General accounting, IC, Reporting, SCF) based on ES&P strategic direction
Aligns with PMO and Transition teams during Business case review and project governance meetings
Fullyqualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with 10+ years qualified financial experience
Fluent English, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English
Other languages of EMEA countries preferred but not required
Local market experience with European J&J companies
10+ Years job experience in different Finance functions
US GAAP reporting experience
Local market Corporation Tax / J&J LR reporting experience
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong team management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Proven business partnering skills (with local EMEA markets)
Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
Solid local GAAP knowledge (Understanding of different requirements for US and local GAAP)
