We are looking for an experienced Oracle Consultant to join our Projects & Consulting team in Prague. You will work with highly skilled colleagues in CZ as well as globally (Denmark, China, Philippines).

Besides Oracle, you will also have colleagues around the world who are specialized within Windows, VMware, Linux / Unix / AIX / Solaris, Storage, Backup, SQL, and Network.

We are a full-stack build team that is responsible for all project-related assignments, services, and change requests, building agreed on design solutions and handing over to our Global Operations team.

Your responsibilities

Providing consulting services and technical advisory for Oracle solutions.

Collaboration with Oracle Service architect in regards to Oracle service design.

Participating in customer on-boarding, transition, and transformations.

Participating in both customer and internal projects.

Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as Operation Manuals, technical procedures, guidelines, and project documentation.

Handing over documentation to our Global Operations team and briefing them.

Handling customized service requests

Your qualifications

You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Managing Oracle installations and environments and see yourself as a skilled Oracle DB specialist.

Furthermore, you have experience with :

Oracle Database up to the latest 19c. in Unix / Linux / Windows environments

Oracle database design, installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and migrations

Oracle Grid infrastructure

Oracle Data Guard

RAC, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Cloud Control

RMAN, especially restore and recovery

Automation and scripting; able to read, write and understand OS Scripts, SQL and Pl / SQL scrips

Unix / Linux and Windows OS

Other DB Platforms (SQL, MySQL, Sybase, PostgreSQL) is definitely a plus
