Job purpose :
We are at an exciting time in our Talent Acquisition journey, & the TAS Operations Lead is a key position within the Novartis Talent Acquisition & Staffing team working to build out our new TAS Global service centre Infrastructure & Operating Model.
The primary focus of this position will be the operational management of one of our TAS service centre to deliver world class talent in a cost effective way ensuring excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
The position is primarily accountable for successfully managing, & delivering against agreed SLAs, Hub specific Talent Acquisition & Staffing services to Novartis customers. This involves :
Working in close cooperation with other TAS Operations Leads, TAS Engagement Partners and the NBS TAS Leadership Team to ensure effective collaboration & delivery of TAS strategy & objectives.
Managing teams of sourcers, schedulers, recruiters, and other associated HR professionals in the Hub, ensuring that roles & responsibilities for end-
to-end processes are clearly defined & executed.
Using relevant recruitment metrics & data to analyze recruiting patterns & help predict future hiring needs, ensuring TAS has capacity to meet business requirements & balance workload / allocate resources as required.
Supporting TAS compliance with relevant global & local legal frameworks, SOX requirements, data protection, etc.
Supporting cultural change & fostering diversity & inclusion within Novartis.
Managing relevant third party providers & vendor / agency relationships.
Being involved in negotiation & monitoring of relevant KPIs, allocation of resources, & SLAs.
Leading & developing team members.

The ideal candidate will have :
Undergraduate Degree; MBA or equivalent management experience preferred.
Fluent spoken and written English; additional language preferred.
Significant experience of leading, managing, recruiting, growing and training employee teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience in a specialist staffing role within a large and complex international environment, operating within a team-
based organization that is customer focused and service oriented.
Experience of managing, or being an Account Manager for, RPO contracts.
Experience in the procurement and management of third party providers / RPOs.
