The Global Business Services at Human Resources is an organization with 800+ employees, delivering end-to-end HR operations to all SAP locations worldwide from two shared services centers in Prague and Manila.

Expectations and Tasks

Empower the global TA Team with solid insights and consumable data for the purpose of creating the best possible customer experience for Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, Recruiters and Candidates.

Leveraging your data analysis skills, you can become a critical partner in our efforts to better leverage data in the recruiting strategy at SAP.

In the first 12 months you will

  • Build scalable reporting solutions that bring recruiters and business leaders in alignment : The reports and templates you create will be essential to setting expectations with customers, summarizing TA’s execution with stakeholders, and instilling confidence across SAP’s ability to meet our hiring objectives.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the ecosystem of data at SAP : Your knowledge of SAP’s tools and systems will be essential to driving innovative and accurate reporting solutions across the global TA org.
  • As such, you will take a proactive approach to understanding the data that is available while presenting creative ideas on how best to leverage.

  • Consult on enterprise wide dashboarding solutions : In partnership with the Enterprise Analytics Team and Program Managers within TA, you will serve as a key contributor in our effort to build a robust and comprehensive analytics solution that will ultimately provide a direct line of sight into the status of TA’s efforts against the business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership across TA to build operational insights internally within the org : Working with recruiting managers, you will have the opportunity to learn about key metrics and KPIs that are critical to the success of a global TA organization while implementing data-
  • driven solutions that will help TA leaders measure and report on the team’s success.

    In order to accomplish this you will need

  • Adapt quickly to the TA environment and be an expert in reporting who can validate their output and educate the end-user with clarity and confidence on automated and manually created data insights.
  • Communicate clearly with partners and stakeholders to provide training and enablement on any reporting solutions provided.
  • Develop a deep understanding of reporting technology and tools, have a passion for numbers, and the mindset of an analytical problem solver that allows you to present new and creative data solutions.
  • Build close working relationships with the HR Operations, Cloud Services Team, Enterprise Analytics Team, HR Analytics Team and other partner organizations who will enhance your product delivery.
  • What do you need to bring

  • Demonstrated expertise of reporting and analytics solutions, preferably in a TA / HR environment.
  • Demonstrated success as a subject matter expert with a proactive and independent approach to work.
  • Solid understanding of essential metrics in a TA organization and familiarity with data and analytics in a global org.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to manage stakeholders of all levels in a global org.
  • Affinity for technology and comfort discussing technical topics with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A high level of proficiency in the advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel pivot tables, logical and statistical formulas, lookup and reference formulas, graphing and analytics.
  • Experience with SAP BW and experience in the design and modeling of reporting concepts a plus.
