Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
Defines module interfaces / formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.

In this role, you will need skills to dive deep into development of end to end Ethernet solutions which requires
Networking pipeline definition and implementation
System level designs enablement and optimization
Components integration and hardware bring-up on target platform in lab
You will work hand-in-hand with a group of experienced engineers to deliver state of the art IPs and verify correctness, analyze specifications of Ethernet networking devices together with Intel software engineers and architects to deliver the next generation of our Ethernet platforms.
You will also take part in primitives for P4 compiler design, prototyping, implementation, and maintenance.
Qualifications, important for us :
You must possess proven experience in FPGA designs delivery, software interaction is an added value.
Specifically you must have following qualifications and proven experience in several of following areas :
4+ years of FPGA / ASIC engineering experience
Knowledge of networking concepts such as Ethernet, TCP / IP, VxLAN, Connection tracking, QoS, etc. is essential
Expertise in advanced verification techniques using ABV, CDV and OVM / UVM
Strong programming skills in SystemVerilog / SystemC and / or Verilog / VHDL and familiarity with HLS design flow
Extensive experience with common EDA simulation tools like Questasim / Modelsim or Verdi / VCS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have :
Knowledge of Ethernet devices, experience with design integration with software components, and solution enablement on target platform
On top of the above, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical area is required to be considered for this position.
