We are looking for Regional Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for reviewing and evaluate regional performance, budgets, job tracking, store opening / closure support, analysing capacity cost trends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
Ensuring state of the art compliance to external regulatory and group instructions
Prepares all sensitive and confidential analysis as directed by Management
Identifies and co-leads (in cooperation with Group Process Owners) process improvement efforts, including system improvements, as needed to streamline the accounting / controlling function
Reviews, prepares and documents analysis of project estimates (store openings or closure) to ensure best in class ROI prediction and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and Group guidelines
Responsible for cost tracking, analysis and reporting for decision support
Stays current with retail industry best practices and implements relevant practices
Coordinates and leads regional monthly financial review meetings, before submitting / validated data to the Group
Re store locations, understand contract terms and conditions, be knowledgeable of contractual requirements, and recognize discrepancies
Works on special projects as requested; assists with external and internal audit preparation
Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with accounting processes, procedures and internal controls related to project accounting
Interface with Regional management on all aspects of retail accounting
Key requirements :
Holding a degree (e.g. MBA ) in Finance or International Business Administration
5-7+ years of accounting experience in public or private accounting including management positions
Planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong management and leadership abilities
Independent and result-oriented working style
Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level (other language skills are a plus)
Master in Excel and BI tools
Ability to work accurately, efficiently and independent
Willingness to travel within Europe
