What you’ll do
For our SaaS operations (SaasOps) team we are looking for a SaaS Operations Specialist to support our newly created SaaS business unit.
This position can be based in any of our EMEA offices.
SaaSOps refers to the operational processes relating to how Software as a Service (SaaS) is discovered, purchased, managed and cancelled in a business.
Reflecting that need, the SaaS Ops role is responsible for ensuring SAS has the internal systems and processes supporting the end-to-end journey of its XaaS customers.
Therefore advising on the design, build and deployment the internal processes, systems and support platform needed by the SAS business to effectively execute the corporate XaaS strategy and provide customer with an exceptional experience.
This would include mapping any transition from current field related processes as an on-prem / cloud vendor to true XaaS vendor processes, enabling identification, awareness, education of customers, effective deal cycle processes enabling best in class customer experiences and aiding the modernization of the wider SAS RevOps function to support this new type of business focused on expansion and renewal post Sale.
Ultimately this SaaS Ops role is responsible for the effective use of internal operational processes and systems needed to enable SAS to be a successful vendor of SaaS and to support the XaaS business.
Primary Responsibilities :
Work with other internal functions on an aligned seamless customer journey.
Define the Revenue function related processes required to execute as a XaaS business.
Assist in the education of the global RevOps and field SalesOps functions / teams in how operational practices / processes and the use of systems should adapt to an XaaS model
Act as the single point of contact for the XaaS BU / Strategic team, working collaboratively to build the future state operating model.
Act as the subject matter expert when assessing tools and or changes to current systems to ensure fit for purpose purchases and implementations.
Lead or play a significant role in the deployment of new tools and enablement of the various teams within SAS in their use of new tools and associated new processes.
Provide subject matter expertise in the definition and design of XaaS metrics / KPI’s in support of the XaaS GtM leadership team.
Responsible for designing analytics and insights for EMEA XaaS BU across pipeline generation, pipe management and Forecasting.
Liaise with Corporate Insights to expand these for global consumption.
Collaborate with Corporate Insights in the design, build and rollout of a XaaS dashboard.
Act as the owner of XaaS related Sales Operations processes, creating new templates and processes to monitor sales performance.
Own the planning process for XaaS (segmentation, territory modelling, quota setting, credit policies, compensation plan shapes etc) incorporating specific BU requirements and dovetailing into the wider Revenue Operations and Corporate planning processes.
Provide proactive assessments of market opportunity and trends to assist with business planning activities.
Assist the EMEA XaaS BU Sales lead in the effective running of the GtM teams.
Contribute to other Global Revenue Operations Initiatives as appropriate.
Support the Snr Director Global Revenue Operations, Planning & Transformation in the effective execution of functional unit providing analytical support and liaison between the BU and other SAS functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in a high-volume SaaS business leading or playing a senior role in the operations function.
Ability to lead projects, gain consensus and drive change.
