We are looking for highly motivated candidates with all levels of experience to strengthen our Data Center Automation team as backend engineers / developers.
The objective of the team is to deliver required infrastructure components globally in a timely and reliable fashion, independently of the question if on-premise or in the cloud.
Currently the solution is based on a mix of both of vendor products and In-house Development and will be reworked to adapt industry standards.
The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding clients.As a senior infrastructure automation engineer / developer, responsibilities include :
Responsible for the architecture of the enterprise Ansible Automation Platform 2
e.g. multi client environment setup , high availability)
Implement the developed architecture
Align with the Ansible Automation Platform team on standards
Liaising with other teams to assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues, including some out-of-hours support
Technical documentation
Communication with Customers and UsersThe candidates should possess the following skills and experience : Essential Primary Skills
Strong knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform
Strong programming skills (Python)
Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux
Strong knowledge of development workflows (REST)
Strong knowledge of versioning (any flavor of git)Required Skills and Experience
Very good communication skills
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Good knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform incl. Ansible Galaxy
Good Practical experience using SQL / relational database skills (Oracle / MySQL)
Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (preferred GCP & Azure)
Knowledge of Atlassian Tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)Desirable
Working knowledge of German (spoken and written)
Experience in development of web applications (CSS, JavaScript, REST API)
