We are looking for experienced operations specialists with broad knowledge of server infrastructure and with primary skills within Unix / Linux technologies.

You will be part of a professional Global team based in Denmark, Prague, China and Philippines.

Your assignments will include daily operations and maintenance of Unix / Linux platform, the operation cover 2.

and 3.

level support including patching, participate in service windows and ITIL Change management.

You will be part of the Operations Centre and participate in the daily and weekend on-site duty rotation.

At the time being Czech Republic and DK covers one on-site shift and China / Philippines covers two shifts around the clock.

Furthermore on-call night duties can occur.

Your responsibilities

Together with your colleagues you host a server environment withmore than 700Linux and UNIX servers.The tasks vary from day to day and includes :

Event and Incident Management

Problem Management

Initialization

Patch Management

Preventive maintenance

Proactive Operations

Change handling

Our primary operating system is HP-UX, RedHat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, AIX, and Solaris.

Other technologies are : HACMP, Serviceguard, Veritas Filesystem, Netbackup, vmware, LDAP, HP-Nonstop.

It is a requirement that you have profound expertise with Unix and at least one or two of the above mentioned areas.

Qualifications

You have a relevant IT degree, profound knowledge of complex server operations and several years of experience with HP-

UX, RedHat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Solaris, AIX, and related technologies.

You have taken relevant courses and obtained relevant certifications in your field.

We expect you to have knowledge of the basicITIL processes.

You also :

Have strong competencies in incident handling and troubleshooting

Have a structured and analytical approach

Communicate well in written as well as in spoken English

Curiosity is a driver in your daily work

Take responsibility of tasks and problem solving

Are able to coordinate tasks across units in worldwide teams

Master many different tasks at the same time in dynamic atmosphere
