Location : multiple locations in EMEA (Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Serbia, Hungary) The primary functions of this role encompass : Manage Eaton’s End-to End profit and loss of the portfolio in the Zone (SEE Zone countries : Italy, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Albania, Adriatic, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) Develop and execute a strategic direction for the SEE Zone aligned to the EMEA business strategic direction and support Eaton’s growth Ensure a good understanding of industry and products as well as the ability to direct the overall sales efforts to continuous growth Implement Zone structure and drive Sales Transformation as part of overall ES EMEA effort Act as the senior Eaton sales representative in the area providing inspirational leadership to employees internally and acting as an ambassador for Eaton externally.
Act as a role model demonstrating behavior and leadership style consistent with Eaton's values and philosophy The incumbent's prime responsibility is to ensure that Eaton meets the agreed budget targets for sales growth and cost in the defined region whilst applying Eaton standard work practices as defined by EBS Essential functions : Develop and implement short, medium and long-term strategic and tactical plans that are aggressive and ambitious while supporting the regional growth plan Overall responsibility for leading and directing sales professionals Overall fiscal and budgetary responsibility for the sales teams within the region Maintain a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values and business code of ethics Develop and implement best-class sales organization and processes (incl.
systems, metrics, hiring and skill-set development) with a business cadence that drives the region forward and achieves results Responsible for ensuring a reliable forecasting and clear accurate reporting for the region Manage the sales activities within the region to meet the agreed budget targets Provides operational leadership to the Sales managers and their workforces Ensure full deployment and application of EBS standards within the defined region Enable cross division cooperation leading the region towards the global strategic goals above any local benefit, while taking into account differing maturity levels May act as Eaton’s nominated legal representative for one or more legal entities Identifies and develops possibilities for future business growth, including possible acquisitions, bringing them to the attention to the relevant central team for further investigation and possible next steps Qualifications University, Post-university degree in Business or Technical area 15+ years experience in sales and business management Good understanding of electrical industry "Strong leadership skills required with the ability to navigate resistance, influence others and develop buy-in Excellent clear and transparent communication skills and ability to communicate across different cultures / geographic regions.
Ability to write and execute strategic sales plans and effective sales proposals Ability to manage and develop a team, with a particular focus on virtual team management Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively leveraging data driven arguments, while able to cope with ambiguity Ability to utilize both analytical and creative skills effectively Managerial courage to address issues and conflicts swiftly, using a coaching approach Advanced written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of customer and management presentations.
Prefer experience in a rapid-growth company or business unit Travel for this role will be about 50% Good understanding of operating within the legal requirements being compliant with local rules and regulations.
