The primary purpose of the Linux Administrator is to provide technical support on systems used as commodity service for multiple customers.

This support entails proactive management and troubleshooting in case of fault and ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.

Possibility to learn different UNIX platforms like HPUX, AIX, Solaris.

  • Maintain the Linux infrastructure.
  • Acknowledge, troubleshoot and resolve tickets assigned to the team in a correct way.
  • Escalate incidents internally or to 3rd party partners when required.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Redhat, Debian, Suse)
  • Experience in supporting VMware technologies
  • Administration & troubleshooting of operating systems
  • Diagnosing, resolving, and delivering root cause analysis for automatic alerts, issues and incidents
  • Identifying & investigating repeated issues and work with Network and responsible support group
  • Manage and resolve incident, problem and change tickets
  • Good understanding of Networking (TCP / IP)
  • Ability to analyze system logs, events and monitoring alerts
  • Basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting
  • Knowledge about Nagios or monitoring application is a plus
  • Knowledge about Red Hat Satellite Server is a plus
  • Nice to have

  • Knowledge of support Unix systems like Solaris, AIX, HPUX
  • Basic LDAP knowledge

    1. Telephone interview with the recruiter in Polish or in English about 10 minutes discussion about the role, financial expectations, presentation of further recruitment steps.
