Amazon HR supports over 700,000 employees across the world using a variety of technology systems and business processes. Amazon Employee Services Technology is looking for an innovative, organized and resourceful HR Program Manager to join the Employee Experience Solutions (E2S) Team to own and execute product launches of Amazon’s HR digital technology solutions platforms globally.

These include Amazon’s internal Digital Document Management product MyDocs (OnBase), and supporting technologies for digital signature, data integrations and other emerging technologies.

As a Sr. Program Manager, you will execute product launches and service delivery initiatives to build scale, efficiency, and a great employee experience.

You will work globally with business owners, product management, business analysts, partner teams, technology, and HR leadership at all levels to understand strategy, requirements and timelines and map those to global HR objectives.

You will drive program deliverables, provide escalation management, and deliver regular communications to stakeholders. An ideal candidate enjoys a variety of work responsibilities, is flexible, adaptable, quickly grasps new processes, ideas and tools.

This candidate thrives on challenge, can self-prioritize and manage work, has excellent written and verbal communications skills, can collaborate across business and technical teams and has a good working understanding of metrics / KPIs.

This individual must excel under pressure meeting ongoing and overlapping deadlines with short time constraints.

The candidate should have significant experience and expert understanding of both project / program management best practices and agile software development methodology.


  • Drive Program Goals - Perform hands on project management in defining program plans, manage implementation, develop processes, documentation and communications for program / process rollout and ongoing management.
  • Interface regularly with business stakeholders to define project direction and priorities.

  • Collaborate - Work closely with product owners, BSA, architecture and development teams to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Work Cross-functionally - Deliver projects in iterative release cycles while working cross-functionally with stakeholders business / client, vendors, partner teams and technical delivery.
  • Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
  • Working experience with Agile / SCRUM methodology-
  • 7+ years of program and / or project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with AGILE methodologies and tools, Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with cross functional, location diverse internal and vendor teams
  • Analytical skills has ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draws conclusion by making appropriate assumptions.
  • Can develop effective mechanisms for feedback and audit purposes

  • Familiar with Metrics / Dashboards tools and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • PMI-PMP Certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with complex inter-dependencies while remaining quality-focused.
  • Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Experienced working with stakeholders to manage expectations and engaging them to address issues.

  • Organizationally savvy; utilizes partnerships across the organization and leverages knowledge of formal and informal decision-
  • making processes to accomplish work objectives.

  • Collaborative, yet influential; a strong negotiator who speaks with conviction while also willing to flex and compromise in order to create the best solution for customers and business needs
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment
