Role
As a Cloud Data Engineer you will join cross-functional Cloud & Big Data team responsible for building new Big Data Platform and data products common for all devices TVs, mobile phones, smart home, ACs, etc.
Responsibilities
Involvement in the design, prototyping, and delivery of software solutions within the cloud-based big data eco-system
In collaboration with stakeholders, preparing high-quality data for operations and analytics
Development of batch data processing pipelines
Development of data-intensive applications and APIs
Performing data analysis to investigate data issues and inform backlog refinement
Ensuring high quality, efficient and tested code
Must have
Professional experience in Big Data, Data Warehousing, and operational data stores
Firm command of Scala and Python
Hands-on experience with Spark
Professional experience with AWS (especially AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, S3, EFS, EBS, EMR, Athena, RDS, DynamoDB, EC2, Redshift, ECS, EKS)
Experience in building distributed, service oriented, microservice-style and preferably cloud-based application architectures
Experience with Git, Maven, Docker, CI / CD, and bash
Good command of English both written and spoken
Nice to have
Knowledge of SQL and TypeScript
AWS certification
Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies, preferably AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK
Salary range & conditions
27000-30000 net B2B or
25000 - 28000 gross on contract of employment
100% remote or office in Warsaw.
