Socialbakers' Marketing Events team is looking for a talented Events manager to head or offline team and take our global events efforts to the next level of success.

As the company continues to rapidly grow, we are seeking a hands-on, creative, energetic and methodical professional to join our industry leading Marketing team in Socialbakers Prague office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the VP of Marketing
  • Plan yearly events, execute all areas and manage events yearly budgets
  • Manage marketing events team and ensure targets, key KPI’s and goals are consistently met
  • Assist and contribute in the coordination of all aspects of conferences, meetings and events
  • Responsible for production and execution of all steps of the companies internal and external events around the world. From planning to execution to post-event actions.
  • Work directly and align with global Sales leaders to ensure production and execution is streamlined
  • Source venues, recommend and engage catering, acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event
  • Approach speakers and ensure speakers are briefed and prepared to provide effective presentations and materials
  • Coordinate proper follow-ups with everyone involved - internally & externally
  • Collect data and produce performance reports. Create monthly ROI reports from previous events
  • Travel, domestically and internationally, and work overtime as needed to attend events and client meetings
  • Manage existing relationships with third party events, recognizing renewal each season
  • Attend networking events to develop and maintain new professional relationships
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of proven hands-on experience in events production
  • Experience working in the Martech space
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to negotiate with suppliers and contractors
  • Team working, enthusiasm and energy
  • Excellent, professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extremely detailed, motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
  • Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in competitive marketplace
  • Monitors news, current events, market and relevant industry trends
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
