NavVis was founded in 2013 to bridge the gap between outdoor and indoor digital maps. As a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, our computer vision based indoor positioning technology is based on years of academic research.

IndoorViewer, our browser-based 3D application for visualization, digital enrichment and navigation of photorealistic indoor spaces runs in any modern web browser as it is based on open standards like TypeScript, WebGL, Three.

Drafting, scoping, prototyping and implementing new features by working closely together with the UX design team and our backend experts
Implementing responsive user interfaces using Angular (2D) and Three.JS (3D)
Implementing unit and integration tests in close collaboration with our QA engineers
Coaching and developing junior colleagues with code reviews, pair programming and workshops
Maintaining and extending our APIs for third party use; developing interesting API examples; gathering feedback in order to improve and extend the API
A good understanding of HTML and CSS and how to implement designs
Profound Angular experience
A Master / Bachelor degree in computer science, media technology or similar, or no degree but self-taught top-notch coding skills
Successfully implemented complex web applications
Will be a plus
Experience with Three.JS, AngularJS, Bootstrap
Experience with Java, Spring, Git, Bash, Linux
Experience with geospatial data
Experience in debugging and profiling applications and improving their efficiency, scalability, and stability
Well-versed in 3D graphics, for example, writing shaders in GLSL
