Our travel business is aimed at well-informed middle-to-high-budget individual travellers aged 35 plus. With offices in London and Warsaw and remote staff all over the world, we are a truly global business.
For July 1st / tbd we are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager (3+ years experience) to join our team and bring our travel platform to the next level.
Specifically, you’ll join us for improving the front door / landing pages and lead generation funnel for our travel platform and for partner brands with a similar product, and later on for development of new product features.
Your role
As a Product Manager in this role you will be responsible for
owning part of our digital product, for the start front door / landing pages and lead generation funnels
working and communicating with all relevant stakeholders inside APA Digital and from partners for understanding and collecting requirements
analysing data or other sources of information on product performance
defining user stories and stages for product development from MVP to live CRO
identifying potential blockers and devising smart, low-effort-low-complexity solutions that integrate into the existing ecosystem
establishing and managing the roadmap for your part of the product, including experiments for optimisation and other initiatives to move the product forward
working closely with the UX Designer and development team for concepts and implementation
providing quality assurance of implementation
defining and creating experiments (including data points to collect) to test your hypotheses and validate your solutions
participating in agile workflow (dailies, sprints and sprint planning)
owning the performance of your solutions / optimizations by managing and reporting defined KPIs & targets
updating relevant stakeholders at regular intervals on progress
Candidate requirements
Essentials - as an ideal candidate you bring the following to the table :
Relevant work experience and strong track record with managing digital product implementation in agile environments (#leanproduct).
Experience in travel industry is a plus
Strong communication, listening and collaboration skills
Experience working in remote, cross functional and cross cultural teams - ideally with German stakeholders
Experience with creating and managing tests (prototypes, MVPs, other initiatives) to challenge and improve your solutions (#CRO)
Google analytics and general performance tracking skills to measure your experiments
Ability to explain your why for product decisions and back it with data analysis
Outstanding analytical mindset and ability to identify the most effective leverage
Solution-driven & pragmatic (20 : 80) mindset focused on achieving outstanding results as a team
Ownership mentality for your projects and drive to make them successful
Self-organisation skills & planning / estimating tasks
Fluency in English (German a plus).
Nice to haves
Experience in managing mobile app & web based products
Experience in process modelling & diagram visualisation
Reporting skills and overlap into BI
