  • Plzen (Pilsen), Czech Republic Following its establishment in 2012, today Plzen is our fastest growing Engineering Development Center in Europe;
  • the development center works on the design and development of Lear Products related to Mechanical Engineering such as complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim development.

    Today, there is a headcount of approximately 250 employees. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.

    Job description

  • Main contact person for our key client BMW
  • Contact person for all commercial issues concerning prototypes and serial parts (creating prototype quotes / engineering changes for serial parts in cooperation with engineering and programme management)
  • To conduct negotiations of quotes within the defined terms
  • Tracking of quotes (purchase order intake, maintenance of lists)
  • Cooperation with plants concerning changes, obsoletes, etc.
  • Sales administration (correspondance, etc)
  • Support of line of business in commercial questions
  • Preparation and evaluation of turnover reports for account management
  • Working with international customer-specific portals (B2B) or / and Lear portals
  • Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies degree or comparable experience
  • Experience in similar position (minimum 3 years), Automotive industry big advantage
  • Good spoken and written German and English
  • Technical competence, good
