The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Support and Operations (ISO) team is looking for a Delivery Lead to join us in Brno, Czech Republic.
In this role, you will be responsible for project management, business analysis, and agile delivery. You’ll need to have solid project management experience and very good communication, organization, and consensus building skills.
As a Delivery Lead, you will maintain regular communication with leadership on status, risks, plans, and changes in technical strategy, while managing up, down, and across the organization.
Primary job responsibilities
Serve as a delivery lead for major ISO initiatives and cross-functional projects
Serve as a knowledgeable expert in agile methodology
Effectively apply knowledge to projects and enforce project standards and team norms
Provide coaching for team members to improve knowledge and delivery skills
Work with the team to continuously update dates, scope, status, and documentation so that all projects are well understood by management and stakeholders
Bring excellent insight into new projects around dependencies or potential issues, help shape the design of projects, and rapidly identify and resolve technical dependencies and risks
Champion standards and help communicate and consult with other delivery leads and teams
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement to planning and implementation methodologies
Build communication strategy and implement communication plans for informing all project stakeholders at regular intervals
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders; this will include technical, operational, and management associates in other Red Hat’s teams and third parties
Develop detailed project plans and associated documentation for complex initiatives
Use best practice risk management, assessing risks in an informed and considered manner; plan for the mitigation of these risks
Track progress against milestones, deadlines, and budget; report on these items to key stakeholders
3+ years of service delivery and project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Flexible with the ability to work as part of a team and get things done
Ability to organize and plan work on your own with little direction
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
The following experience will be considered as a plus :
Knowledge of agile and lean methodologies
Experience with open source technologies

Experience working with globally distributed teams
Experience working with infrastructure technologies
Proficiency in Google Application Business Suite
