As a Software Engineering Lead at Macrix you will :
supervise and oversee the technical aspects of projects,
collaborate with the customer, product team and development team,
determine project goals and priorities with management and other involved stakeholders,
support in estimations and offers preparations,
analyze risks and actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan and business objectives,
recommend technology stack, tools and standards that increase productivity,
assist in critical problems, software, hardware and personnel decisions on a project and on the organization level,
ensure continuous development and improvement of the ongoing project activities,
be a mentor and role model for less experienced colleagues.
What skills are we looking for?
5+ years’ experience in an engineering role,
bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience,
solid knowledge and understanding of Agile & Scrum,
experience with requirements gathering, prioritization and documentation,
strong technical and analytical skills with strong critical thinking and problem-solving background in engineering or related disciplines,
knowledge of complex systems with multiple product lines and integrations with external systems,
full system development life cycle hands-on understanding : analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation,
the ability to juggle a number of things at once and deliver to a tight deadline,
excellent organizational and interpersonal skills,
bags of passion and drive, and a genuine desire to make things better,
excellent verbal and written communication in English.
How do we work?
we have 2 offices : in Poznań / Poland and in Mönchengladbach / Germany
part of us work fully remotely , another part on a hybrid way , and there are also enthusiasts of the office work it’s totally up to you!

What does our recruitment process look like?
Short technical interview 30 minutes video call with one of our Technical Leaders about your experience, via Microsoft Teams.
We will send you a question about your availability and we will adjust the meeting time to you.
General interview more extended meeting with a company presentation part, after which you will know us better. The meeting also consists of an extended technical part and soft skills questions.
Usually takes about 100-120 minutes.
Practical task which is an option and if we are 100% sure, we will not waste your time. Otherwise, this is a great opportunity for you to show your real skills and enchant us!
After each part, we will contact you in less than 3 working days, together with the final decision. You will receive the answer to your application, regardless of our decision.
