Job Summary :
Novartis is currently searching for a Domain Architect HR to join the IT department.
Job Purpose :
Take responsibility for the overall standards and direction of IT architecture in the whole HR domain. Ensure the efficient and effective elaboration, validation, and communication of the Domain Architecture of HR IT in Novartis globally and ensure the right IT investments are made from an architecture perspective for HR.
Key Responsibilities :
Determine Domain and Enterprise Architecture-significant Drivers (e.g. Vision, Strategy, Objectives) for HR IT globally
Estimate solution architecture, design and development efforts for projects, suggest and compile the required resources and assign responsibilities connected to a defined time schedule
Elaborate HR domain-specific Reference Architecture, including Architecture Taxonomy, Architecture Patterns and Principles, Solution Architecture Adoption Guides.
Work with the other domains for defining cross-cutting perspectives.
Analyze wider industry trends and best practice to identify best-in-class IT and direction
Identify opportunities to improve the architecture domain (e.g. opportunities to reduce redundancy, consolidate applications and platforms, improve operational deficiencies, close existing capability gaps, etc.)
Validate, align and communicate the Domain Architecture

The ideal candidate will have :
Graduate-level degree in computer science discipline (Masters is a plus)
Fluent in English
10+ years of diverse professional IT experience encompassing technology, systems management and service management
Working Knowledge of TOGAF, Unified Process or other Architecture Frameworks is a plus
Previous experience as an Enterprise Architect / Domain architect either for large programs or as a line role with expertise on the relevant enterprise patterns and method.
Working understanding and application of the ITIL framework and ITIL certification preferred.
Strong understanding of the solution development life-cycle
Demonstrated success managing solution development quality
