We are looking for Senior C++ Developer (Qt) to work for a European company from the fintech industry specializing in algorithmic trading and cryptocurrencies.
You will be working in a small but talented team to evolve and improve our product.
You will be working closely with 3-4 Senior C++ Developers in creating the Qt desktop client for the Volven Trading Platform.
You won’t be burdened by long processes, supporting old SDKs or using deprecated technologies. In turn, we expect you to deliver seamless, native and performant experience with quick work iterations and ideas turnover.

Tasks / Responsibilities :
Design and build our new desktop application using C++, Qt, QML
Evaluate tools, frameworks, platforms and processes to determine the best fit for the application
Assure the highest performance through multithreading, balancing operations between app and backend services
Participate in all stages of the development life cycle including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
Adding new and improving existing functionalities in the new desktop application
Assure the highest quality of the application by using software development best practices, TDD and high-test code coverage
Sample tasks :

Evaluate tools, frameworks, platforms and processes to determine the best fit for the application
Requirements
higher education - IT or related
minimum 5 years of experience in programming in C++, Qt, QML
proven experience in creating and maintaining Qt multiplatform desktop applications
knowledge of algorithmics, data structures, multithreading
knowledge and experience in use of TDD approach, test and build tools
knowledge of good principles, i.e., SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI
experience in creating automatic unit and integration tests
good communication in English (at least B2 level)
good interpersonal and communication skills (ability to work in a team)

ability to design, build and maintain applications in accordance with the Agile methodology
