As a Global Household goods coordinator you are responsible for the end to end transportation of a customer’s goods on their international relocation.

This diverse role allows you to develop your skills in logistics and customer service with an element of finance involved as well.

You have full ownership of your files which means you are in charge of planning, problem resolution and communication.

INTERNAL) CUSTOMER SERVICE :

There are two types of customer service elements for a forwarder :

Externally where you are in direct contact with a client and where you will consult, communicate and coordinate on a specific file.

The second type, and most common, is applicable to files that will require one of your relocation colleagues (consultants) to own the communication with the client directly.

This means that you will work with the relocation consulting acting as an internal stakeholder. The forwarder’s role is to act as specialist with regards to the transportation of the goods and provide regular updates and instructions to your colleagues.

LOGISTICS :

The logistical portion of the role is related to organizing, coordinating and monitoring logistics. A forwarder works directly with a pre-

selected network of providers and will make sure all documents and requirements are in place for the goods to be transported.

PROFITABILITY :

Another main task of the forwarding role is to maintain a profitability target in revenue on all files. This means that, besides occasional price negotiations, the tracking of invoices and all other costs related to a file needs to be done in an organized and structured manner.

Each file ends with the forwarder creating a final invoice that is to be forwarded to our payables department for further processing.

Required Skills

  • Proven superior customer service skills required. Ability to positively engage clients and appropriately counsel difficult customers.
  • Advanced English communication and teamwork skills and readiness to work in ever-changing, multicultural environment. Second language is an advantage
  • Flexibility, initiative, ability to work under stress and meet targets, open mind, international feeling’, project managing skills, initiative, analytical thinking, fast learner.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Eligible to legally work in the Czech Republic.
  • Czech language is not required.
  • Desirable Requirements :

  • Logistics / forwarding experience would be advantageous
  • Education : bachelor degree preferred
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
