We are ramping up our Cloud Operations in support of our Customer’s migration / transformation journey to Cloud worldwide.

With that in mind, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Professional that will be part of a global team along with our colleagues in Denmark, China, and the Philippines.

The role will primarily be responsible for

Migrating, building, operating Azure cloud-based platforms with an emphasis on Automation

A suitable candidate is expected to be agile and quick-witted to adapt and work on next-generation Cloud technologies with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in mind yet strikes a balance in ensuring documentary and / or process compliance to meet regulatory requirements (ISO standards, ITIL, GxP, GDPR, and other Data Privacy Laws) governing our customers.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of solid experience on Cloud-based Projects and / or Operations

Technical know-how on designing, implementing, troubleshooting Dev / Test to Production IaaS / PaaS environments in Azure ( AWS is an advantage )

Proven skills in Automation / Scripting / IaC as the norm rather than the exception- AZ CLI / PowerShell, Bash, JSON templates

ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible, Other Cloud deployments / provisioning / configuration tools

DevOps CI / CD to Cloud

Strong foundation in at least 2-3 technical domains

Windows, AD, Web, Database, Networking, Security, Storage / Virtualization, Backup / Recovery, Logging / Monitoring / Reporting

Willing to do 24x7 shifting and on-call as the need arise

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Collaborate internally with multiple technical / functional teams and externally directly to customers and their other service providers to deliver what is really needed and not just what is requested

Articulate ideas and technical jargons to business stakeholders

Translate business needs to technical requirements and vice versa

Create and do presentations / workshops for internal and / or customer use.

Develop and write technical documents, service description, processes and / or procedures

Attention to detail in documenting and reviewing tickets / cases on the resolution / work done (Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests)

Preference and priority will be given to those able to demonstrate any of the following

Cloud-based Database Operations (Big Data, MongoDB, Data Lake, Databricks, Redis)

CaaS (Container as a Service), Microservices, Serverless computing, Kubernetes, Dockers

Search / Logging / Monitoring (Find, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana)

Linux Operations Provisioning, Configuration, Backup / Restore

Successful Migration / Digital Transformation projects from On-Premise to Cloud

Hybrid Operations (work with both Cloud and On-premise infrastructure)

Cloud-based Certifications (AWS, Azure) is nice to have
