    You will be ideally a senior professional who is warm, hospitable, organized, driven with a great communication style appealing to our guests and employees.

    You will be reporting to the Director of Rooms and you will be a part of the departmental leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Spa department.

    You will ideally have a special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring that our spa offering is at the center of our guest experience.

    You will work closely with hotel management in establishing and maintaining team’s relations and development objectives, operating criteria, guests’ experiences, marketing and budgeting.

    You will be responsible for managing the overall Spa and Fitness operation to ensure day-to-day standards and procedures are adhered to and delivered at the highest level.

    Guest satisfaction is paramount in the Spa by ensuring services are performed to the best of the team’s ability while maintaining Four Seasons standards throughout all interactions.

    You will facilitate training and evaluations of all staff and ensure all administrative duties including but not limited to payroll, scheduling, retail and supply levels are maintained and effective.

    You will lead the financial direction of the spa ensuring complete visibility and maximizing opportunities and resources.

    The Spa Manager must at all times display professionalism and attention to detail to serve as an example and leader to the rest of the Spa and Fitness team.

    You will be reporting to the Front Office Manager and you will be a part of the departmental leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Spa department.

    About the Responsibilities and Duties

    Manage and oversee all the Spa, Wellness and Fitness areas.

    Lead spa team (spa receptionists, spa therapists, spa attendants and free lancers).

    Ensure the highest level of guests’ experience thought monitoring their preferences, greeting and meeting them, quality treatments check.

    Work closely with Engineering and Housekeeping to maintain hygienic and safe environment according to local legislation and full guests’ satisfaction.

    Create and maintain professional and fruitful relationships with third party providers, vendors, suppliers and freelance staff.

    Control financial performance of the department, participating in tender and inventory processes, annual operating and capital investment budgeting.

    To be responsible and drive the Marketing / PR activities and spa promotions in close collaboration with Sales / Marketing / PR in-charges.

    Effectively integrate the Spa with the Hotel operations wherever possible and in accordance to the direction of Spa trends.

    Elaborate on a competitive pricing strategy, comprehensive treatment offering as well as relevant product retail line. Maintain an interesting treatment menu and stay abreast of trends in the industry to be incorporated.

    Choose and maintain the finest spa and retail products.

    Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service.

    Being able to interview, train, schedule, and monitor employee performance.

    Being able to lead by example, deliver feedback, training, performing reviews and disciplinary conversations to team members as necessary.

    Complete payroll for all Spa and Fitness personnel.

    Properly manage stock and store retail offerings including inventory processes and communication of product needs.

    Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director or Rooms.

    What to Expect

    This position is offered for a unlimited period and your trial period will be 6 months. Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your 1 up manager and mentor.
