Financial Reporting & Account Specialist - Intercompany, Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic

The Financial Reporting and Accounting Specialist Intercompany / Treasury & Cash Management (IC / TCM) provides quality services to Novartis Group entities, securing company assets by applying tight controls in the financial transactions, while providing accurate financial information and timely reporting of balances.

This role ensures that systems, documentation, compliance and reporting are in place and actively contributes continuous improvement projects to provide highly effective and efficient end-

to-end processes to the Novartis divisions.

Your Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Performance Management and Service Delivery
  • Provides services at expected levels with a clear customer focus and escalates exceptions
  • Performs the period-end closing and reporting in accordance with laws and Novartis required standards Proactively reviews accounts to ensure all financial transactions are valid and recorded to ensure accuracy of reported data
  • Reviews and monitors intercompany accounts and leads the statement review
  • Ensures proper bank, cash pooling and Inhouse Bank (IHB) processes
  • You’ll receive :

    Minimum requirements

    What you’ll bring to the role :

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • University level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable
  • Lean / Six Sigma Certified preferred
  • English required (written and spoken), German is beneficial (written and spoken), French is a plus (spoken)
  • 2-4 years of financial experience, with good functional expertize
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization
  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience in managing projects driving performance improvements
