ICE (Integrated Cross-Product Environment) serves as a global trading platform for credit business, provide trader tool for credit curve marking, index arbitrage, margin calculation, scenario analysis, Bloomberg run, risk and P&L reporting.
ICE hosts global distributed aggregation components that are used for all report requests and also has other components handling and pricing of live risk and P&L.
Additional business-specific tools are used by different subsets of the user population. ICE users include Traders / Sales / Quants / Risk Manages / Finances / Operations.
ICE also serves as a central platform for investment banking data inspection, aggregation and visualization, with a suite of products to deliver the data using a variety of interfaces (i.
e. desktop application, excel add-in and scheduled delivery). More specifically, ICE is used primarily as a unified platform for analyzing pricing, P&L and position data, supporting multiple businesses.
Current data on-boarded to ICE includes Macro Rates Trading, Counterparty Risk Trading, Credit Flow Trading, Prime and Equity Finance, Market Risk VAR analysis, Leverage Finance and Security Syndication.
We are expanding coverage to include Barclays treasury, FX etc. ICE will also play important role in upcoming major regulatory deliveries includes CCAR / FRTB etc.
