Major responsibilities :

  • The incumbent is responsible for HR operations in Europe (Germany, France, Czech Republic, Hungary, United Kingdom).
  • Partnering with Regional Chief Operating Officer, local General Managers and Corporate HR in Headquaters to develop and implement HR strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.
  • He / she will also be an integral stakeholder in the regional HR leadership team and will be instrumental in driving global and regional alignment of initiatives to meet the overall global corporate goals.
  • Provide full spectrum of HR services to the managers and employees located in Europe. This would include budgeting, manpower planning, talent acquisition and management, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement / relations, payroll and labour law compliance.
  • Provide advisory to managers and staff on all employee related matters, HR policies and processes.
  • Review HR policies and procedures and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures in line with business needs and in accordance with local labour legislation.
  • Proactive in driving the delivery of all HR processes.
  • Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring documents and manuals are kept current, accurate, confidential and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare and ensure all HR reports are delivered on a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with the Corporate HQ HR to implement global and region initiatives (e.g. global HRIS, M&A projects).
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects driven globally / regionally.
  • Support the other HR team members in the region as and when needed.
  • Act as the Local Compliance Officer for the locations responsible for.
  • Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business or Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience within MNC environment covering a full spectrum function.
  • Experience of working across a range of geographies.
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills to work with teams and individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Good judgement and experienced business skill with the ability to build trust with all managers and employees.
  • Hands on, self-motivated and flexible operating in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Resourceful and meticulous with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet goals and objectives.
  • Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Strong experience in HRIS system & payroll, along with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a must. Other language ability would be an added advantage.
