You will partner with stakeholders to collect requirements for deliverables and recommend process improvement for remediation projects.

  • Ensuring past due and collection metrics are achieved on a portfolio of accounts typically involving higher profile customers with more complex collection issues
  • Understanding credit risk, and recommending customer credit terms and limits to maximize sales while limiting bad debt risk
  • Activities include establishing and maintaining contact with customers (may include travel) concerning past due invoices, payment trends, resolution of disputed invoices, and other matters related to past due receivables
  • Overseeing various customer accounts and mentors and trains other credit and cash team members
  • Preparing and coordinating the efforts around the cash calls with the Business (Sales Team)
  • Interfacing with a variety of functional areas at various business sites related to customer disputes, invoice copies, proof of delivery, contract / PO issues, etc.
  • Providing monthly cash receipts forecasts and various analyses, analyzes bad debt and participates in and sometimes leads process improvement efforts that improve corporate cash flow
  • Assuming a senior credit / collections role within the ACC organization, often called upon to assisting management with special assignments and training of new employees
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Solid experience in related field
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, credit and collection policies and procedures, and credit risk required
  • Fluent English language, other language is a big advantae (Spanish preferred)

  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and financial analysis skills
  • Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle
  • multiple tasks

  • Excellent oral, written and presentations skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers required·
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, and experience with other Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of SAP AR system highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools
