We are looking for motivated person who has experience within Accounting and who speaks very good English and would be supporting LEGO subsidiaries in Western Europe.
The content of your job will be to :
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (local GAAPS and IFRS)
Manage more advanced execution of general ledger processes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including
o Monthly and Yearly closing - Review P&L and BS ensuring accurate reporting
o Performance of the key controls, identification of the control weaknesses, suggestions for improvements
o Preparation of local Financial Statement and coordinate the tax and compliance agenda for assigned entities
o Reconciliations (accounts, intercompany, bank, etc.) and translating business transactions into journal entries in accordance with IFRS to ensure all accounts are properly stated in Legal books
o Provide data, analysis and advice necessary to support financial business partners / business in decision making process
Constantly strive to optimize processes and work procedures using the LEGO Continuous improvement approach across functional areas
Coordinate and support accountants working on the assigned entities, share best practices within the team (9 team members)
Build and strengthening basic stakeholder relations across areas and geographies including collaboration and culture (incl.
Business Controllers, Treasury, CRBC, Tax, Group Reporting and our auditors / PwC)
Competencies we are looking for :
3-5 years of demonstrated working experience from Accounting / Finance function
Fluent English, German language is nice to have
Audit experience is an advantage
Preferably proven working experience in International accounting environment
Analytical skills, ability to work with various scenarios
Structured, detailed and accurate person
Ideally have experience with SAP
Robust, resilient and ability to embrace changes, as well as having a proactive mind with a can-do attitude
