We’re looking for a highly creative, articulate, and experienced French Community Manager to keep our communities engaged with our brand and help them stay in-
the-know when cybersecurity attacks threaten their digital safety.
You will be closely integrated with the worldwide marketing team responsible for Avast’s advertising, PR, blogs, and other content and will focus on building our French social media presence.
You’ll expand our brand narrative and engage with our already thriving community to build it into a world-class social ecosystem.
You’ll stay current with company and industry news and developments to bring fresh and timely content to our global social channels.
Your interest in the latest social media trends and tools will keep us on the cutting edge of content delivery and measurement.
Engage our customers and prospects on Facebook and Twitter and other social channels with regular, compelling content to ensure that our brand remains top of mind
Build the Avast social French community by responding in a timely manner to posts and inquiries and connecting customers with our Customer Service team when necessary, to ensure timely interaction
Develop and deliver tactics that help spread the word about Avast
Develop and report on KPIs, measuring the impact of social media content and campaigns while optimizing to improve ROI
Grow the social following in our French market, tailoring content by brand, audience, and geography
Develop a keen understanding of our product line and value propositions so that you can speak about the products confidently
Represent the voice of the customer to the organization when trends appear on social media
Plan and creatively execute event-based social media reporting during shows, events, and speaking engagements
Bi-lingual French and English speaker.
2 years social media content development experience
Experience in B2C technology a must
Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone
Experience with latest social media management tools
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
Experience with SproutSocial, HubSpot, Google Analytics or similar tools
Experience with Social Advertising (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram)
Copywriting experience and an eye for design
Strong analytical skills to report regularly on results and improve marketing effectiveness and ROI
Experience with SEO
A passion for brand and community building
Works independently in fast-paced environment, multitasks with ease, while maintaining sense of humor and camaraderie
