Your main missionwill be to provide professional expertise to the Air Handling and Refrigeration engineering function within the zone EMENA as well as support to Nestlé global engineering function.
This includes all Air Handling and Refrigeration engineering activities that impact on people safety, product quality and hygiene, environmental compliance, and operational performance in the Group Operations.
Key responsibilities / Main duties
Develop the regional air conditioning and refrigeration support by helping project teams to define concepts, estimating heat loads, developing specifications and leading design reviews for large and complex buildings like factories.
Assist in developing HCFCs and HFCs phase out plans, including the use of natural Refrigerants and retrofit projects.
Perform Ammonia, CO2, Flammable Refrigerants Safety on-site assessments.
Identify Energy reduction opportunities and operations optimization.
Give Technical Assistance to production and R&D centres
Train, coach and develop engineers in the production and R&D units.
Develop and roll-out best practices.
Education and experience
BSc / MSc Mechanical or Process Engineer with specialization in Refrigeration or Dipl.-Ing.
Verfahrens- und Kältetechnik, Ingénieur Frigoriste or equivalent with solid background and expertise in :
Design, Design Review, Installation, Operation,
Between 8 to 12 years of professional experience, at a reputable air handling or industrial refrigeration company for the implementation of industrial hygienic air handling & industrial refrigeration projects for the Food Industry.
Capable to develop / design air handling, hydronic and refrigeration systems for industrial applications.
Practical experience in : air conditioning, ammonia safety and CO2 industrial refrigeration, electricity, instrumentation and automation.
Ability to solve problems and to use modern communication means.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Problems solving minded.
Communication language is English. Any other European language is a plus.
Ready to travel up to 50% of the working time.
