The Associate Solution Designer provides customers with professional and timely accurate and effective proposals to provide SITA Communication services.
The Associate Solution Designer drives organic growth and simple new opportunities by leveraging knowledge of information technologies.
The Associate Solution Designer is responsible for triggering all actions required to implement successfully the contracted solutions.
The business goals are to generate new business revenue on existing contracts leveraging standard products and solutions from the SITA Communication Services portfolio.
Be the interface to customers on assigned Sales opportunities, designing and coordinating the development of standardized and / or proven business solutions.
Support the Solution Designers / Solution Architects on large customer opportunities by gathering access circuits quotations.
Liaise with I-Sales team to build simple customer proposals, interacting with them throughout the process.
Create, maintain and update any assigned Sales opportunity in SITA Sales tool (Salesforce.com) or maintain existing ones.
Validate the quality of the input data from the customer for processing successfully the orders.
Produce the list of orderable components (Bill of Material) and the low-level design describing in meaningful details for implementation the contracted customer solution
Own the technical sections of the required Service Request Forms and submit them to the Project manager and / or Customer Service manager with the aim to get the orders validated at first submission.
Support the Project manager and / or Customer Service manager for the coordination of the final delivery / migration.
Define and ensure that acceptance tests are carried out successfully.
Effective attendance to service activation / migration conference calls if required by the Project manager and / or Customer Service manager.
Experience in Information Technology (infrastructure and communication, networking) or airport Industry.
Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions proposals.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong technical knowledge (knowledge of airport technologies such as passenger processing and baggage processing is desirable);
Strong customer facing and interpersonal skills;
Good organizational skills;
Knowledge of MS Office.
