Plan, organize and direct the activities of a sales engineering team to ensure the delivery of best in class SE service to customers, partners and distributors.
Coordinate and direct technical resources and expertise to support Mitel sales, channel partners and distributors with product questions, licensing questions, RFPs, upgrades and configuration assistance in a centralized contact center environment.
Focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction by providing product overviews and web-based demonstrations for new opportunities and customer upgrades.
Develop and support a learning environment for internal teams and customers / partners
Recruit, hire, retain team of high performing sales engineering resources.
Coach and develop team, provide direction, goal setting, performance management, mentoring and technical training.
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
BS / BA (EE / CS) or equivalent work experience.
7+ years’ related experience in data networks, telephony systems & applications, unified communication applications and services, related tools, testing systems, services.
3+ years of leadership and direct managerial experience
Strong background in contact center technologies required
Technical expertise and solid knowledge in IP and legacy telephony networks, data networks, unified communication applications and contact center technologies.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills to senior leaders.
Ability to coach and mentor teams while leading through change.
Ability to establish clear objectives and direction for team.
PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Mitel product knowledge and competitive knowledge including solutions, technology and product offerings.
Industry certifications highly desirable.
