Job Summary

Calderys Deutschland GmbH is a leading company in mineral-based specialties for industry, especially Monolithic refractories, Precast shapes, Electofused blocks and other products.

In order capture new business opportunities and continuously improve our competitiveness we are working in a segment structure with integrated Centres of excellence and Technical support to give competitive solutions to customers.

Segment Aluminium & Foundry includes all the ferrous and non-ferrous foundries and aluminum plants and customers.

Your tasks :

  • Follow up of the given revenues and target specifications according to budget; responsibility of the budget for the defined area
  • Extensive customer management referring to commercial and technical details with existing and new clients
  • Extension of already existing business relationship; development of new and expanded product and market potentials
  • Leading of price negotiations
  • Close cooperation with technical department and development through the supply- and implementation phase
  • Observation and analysis of market trends and customer needs referring to given product portfolio
  • Creating of a monthly sales report and documentation of the data in CRM system
  • Your Profile :

  • Technical background, studies / technician in the field of process engineering, materials engineering / ceramics; mechanical engineering;
  • mineralics / geology or any linked fields

  • Experience in the execution of projects in plant engineering with focus on Ferrous Foundries Non ferrous foundries / Aluminium /
  • Understanding of business context, fundamental (at least 5 years) working experience as a sales engineer
  • Problem analysis and problem solving competence
  • Experience in refractory branch
  • Structured, target oriented and independent working style, organizing ability
  • Very good communication skills,
  • Language CZ, SK and very good in English verbal and written German would be helpful too ,
  • Location : Ostrava or home office.
