Job Purpose :
The purpose of the Head of HR Cluster Region Europe role is to partner with Cluster Management and local country management in the development of business plan and ensure the translation and implementation of that plan into an HR strategy, as well as to embed Area HR strategy and provide professional HR guidance and support with the objective of adding value to the business.
Key Responsibilities :
Actively participates on cluster executive team and represents the function in cluster business meetings
Leads long-term HR initiatives and projects aligned with the strategic agenda in the cluster
Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
Provide management with coaching and consulting support in all areas of employee lifecycle, selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement and talent retention
Ensure that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization
Support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent, Pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy
Overlooks recruitment and selection activities, ensuring that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired in a timely and cost-effective manner
Facilitates employee onboarding Lead cluster initiatives to align organizational culture with Business objectives and enhance employee effectiveness and development including : OTR, PMP, T / D and Employee Engagement initiatives
Ensure the performance management system is fully implemented and engage business leaders in managing performance Implement appropriate employee training and manage its delivery
Coach management to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future Performance standards
Provide expert advice and coaching to employees when appropriate
Manage compensation programs and benefit plans to ensure a competitive total compensation structure that attract, motivate and retain best-qualified employees
Promote a culture that fosters fairness and open communication among employees and values individual differences
Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives
Leads and develops a small team of HR professionals within the cluster and in the country
Act as a liaison between the line and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
Lead the correct administration of various human resources plans and procedures for all Sandoz personnel (payroll, C&B, visas, relocation etc.)
Ensure HR Compliance and adherence to NVS HR principles, practices and policies, and ensures preparation, submission, and maintaining personnel-
related documentation, reports and communication as legally required locally and according to Group HR guidelines
University / advanced degree in Business, HR or similar disciplines. Master preferred.
English on advanced level (fluent)
8-10 years of HR business partnering experience acquired in a variety of roles, incl. 2-3 years in senior HRBP roles
Variety of local, HR roles and experiences, with proven impact and accomplishments
Practical and proven accomplishments in the areas of Talent acquisition, talent management, leadership and change management
Establishment and development of HR teams
Coordination of core HR processes and services (e.g. payroll)
Medical devices / pharmaceutical experience and knowledge is desired
