Primary Roles and Responsibilities :
Manage a team of 6-8 SDETs and drive the strategy for next generation integration / client validation team. Strategy to be consistent with cross-
SAP Concur teams supporting the integration and customer scenarios testing through automation. This position has management ownership and oversight for efforts related to the skills development of the next layer of automation test engineers who will take ownership of Selenium-
based, API based test automation, and Tools.
The Challenge :
Be a champion for product quality and a voice for customers
Develop and implement strategies with cross functional teams
Manage and mentor a diverse team of SDETs
Manage the Client Validation Program for key customers
Drive the cross-services integration testing
Set standards and develop automation test and tools to be shared with rest of organization
Analyze test coverage and effectiveness and provide recommendations
Accountability and commitment to improving product quality with each release
Facilitate communication upward and across project teams
Develop successful working relationship with customers, QE teams, and management
Recruit and retain top talent and provide performance appraisals, develop and promote staff, resolve performance issues
Represent department as needed : including project teams, task forces, audits, business or technical meetings with internal and external groups
What We Are Looking For :
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent 4 year technical degree
5+ years in Software Engineering Management
Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies
5+ years’ experience in Object-oriented design and programming concepts in Java or other OOP language.
Strong project management and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
