ROLE OVERVIEW

This position is mainly provide financial support to the relevant business team by :

  • Producingand controlling the period (monthly Quarterly & Yearly) End results
  • Performingnecessary analysis of reporting closing results
  • Doing theFinancial controlling and support for projects
  • Completingthe monthly forecast (at required detailed level)
  • Completingthe budgeting process including the settlement of interlock reviews withrelevant parties
  • Confirm and validate integrity of results recorded by :

  • Ensuringalignment between Statutory reporting and Management reporting results
  • ConfirmingIFRS and accounting policies compliance
  • Supportingthe Audit activity
  • Play an active role in the BAB process by :

  • Ensuringalignment with the corporate governance model for every BAB submission
  • Providingfinancial modeling and pricing support during the preparation process of newcontract proposal
  • Reviewingthe financial profitability of the business cases
  • Play an active role in project controlling :

  • Supportmajor deals project control
  • Verify theaccuracy of project accounting
  • Reconcileperformance to budget
  • Play an active role in Cost Controlling :

  • Apply SITAstandard methods and guidelines of costs allocation rules
  • Verify theaccuracy of costs allocation through monthly / quarterly / yearly reports
  • Provideconsistent and standard cost analysis across regions and business
  • Involved in the financial control activities by :

  • Ensuringalignment with capitalization best practices
  • Ensuringalignment with tax compliance activities
  • Ensuringalignment with corporate
  • Education

  • Universitydegree in Finance or Accounting is imperative
  • Membershipof a relevant Finance / Accounting accreditation body desirable
  • Goodknowledge of International accounting standards.
  • Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years work experience preferablywithin a large international company
  • accountclosing experience
  • Experiencein shared service center is an advantage
  • Experiencewithin the budgeting process
  • Knowledge and skills

  • ManagementAccounting
  • Financialand Budget Control experience
  • Knowledgeof Financial Systems is key (Competence in Excel. Access and Essbase aremandatory)
  • Ability tomulti-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Qualitycontrol skills
  • Ability tocommunicate with internal customers
