RESPONSIBILITIES You will create, manage and develop new business client opportunities, from cold-calling to closing of the business, working alongside an experienced team.

Specifically, you will : - GENERATE LEADSThrough cold calling, develop a database of leads / prospective clients segmented by industry and foreign exchange turnover, as well as trade finance potential.

Take advantage of Ebury’s cutting edge, data driven lead sourcing technology, Sonar . Attend exhibitions, networking events and other client sourcing meetings as indicated by management, where potential new business opportunities could be pursued.

  • CREATE THE EBURY VALUE PROPOSITIONResearch the client and sector to identify possible client needs and the solutions Ebury can offer.
  • Present Ebury services to prospects and provide the way forward for their foreign exchange, hedging, payment and / or trade finance challenges.

    Where appropriate, set up meetings for you and a more senior colleague to visit the client and close business. Increase your market knowledge and develop relationships with clients by keeping them up-

    to-date on currency market movements. Demonstrate value by helping them make better informed decisions about managing their risk.

  • WIN BUSINESS AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIESManage the relationship with our key account management team to speed up the conversion from sign up to first trade by engaging with the client and managing the handover to the account manager.
  • Business Developers will have opportunities to move to more senior sales positions, from Industry Sector Specialist to Head of Desk, managing your own team, or progressing to a dealing / account management role.

    Ebury Czech Republic will be initially incubated in the Polish office in Warsaw, before moving to Ostrava
