Roche Diagnostics has built a new start-up business charged with building a modern portfolio of decision support software products that will impact the way patients receive care.

Our challenge is to bring together complex diagnostic and treatment data from medical devices and IT systems within a hospital and intelligently process and present this data to doctors and caregivers to improve the experience and outcomes of patient care.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Business Development Manager is a senior individual contributor role responsible for the development of product strategy, market development and commercialization for new digital solutions starting with a SaaS software product targeting hospital marketplace.

This leader will work in a multifunctional team that covers Marketing, IVD Healthcare consultancy and New Business Models.

He / she will also closely partner with Global Diagnostics Information Solutions (DIS) teams, and the DIS Software Center of Excellence.

In this position, you will :

  • Work with the Head of Marketing, developing and leading initial budget with finance team.
  • Work with senior management team on high level forecasts, growth plans, strategies and tactics.
  • Develop commercialization strategies to monetize new digital / software solutions
  • Develop and run third party business relationships as needed
  • Integration of sales and marketing strategy plans including product marketing strategy, promotions, pricing
  • Ensure effective implementation of product launches
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood across entire organization

    To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • MBA or Master’s degree in IT, Finance, Business or Biomedical Sciences
  • 10+ years of management experience, with extensive experience in the software industry (healthcare oriented preferred).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in areas such as software development, sales, business development, product marketing, service & value-
  • based procurement experience

  • Leadership skills, including critical thinking, creativity, integrity, trust, accountability, credibility, judgment, persuasion / influence, fairness and high ethical standards.
  • Ability to positively approach new challenges and opportunities, using creative thought processes to uniquely solve problems
  • Ability to build and execute processes with a mindset toward the future
  • Strong strategic planning skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Global experience
  • Fluent in Czech and English
