Experience required for Professional Level :
Typically at least five years experience in automation and at least two applications in the following industries;- Pharmaceuticals, Tissue, Converting, Food & Beverage, Utilities, and Materials Handling, etc.
Conversant with MS Office software products Excel, Access, Word,
Ideally Rockwell Automation Hardware and Software.
Demonstrates a high level knowledge in process controls including understanding the process, ability to identify the parameters and understand and identify the process variables and hazards.
Capable of understanding P&IDs and instrumentation / control equipment in an industrial environment.
Demonstrates a high level of knowledge of the control methods, analog and discrete and the critical components to developing sustainable control algorithms.
Capable of implementing control methodology in PLC and HMI platforms with a understanding of the programming language.
Knowledgeable of control system architecture including hardware, software, instrumentation and networking equipment.
Demonstrates experience in industrial environment with loop checking, startup, troubleshooting and commissioning support.
Demonstrates knowledge in control panels through ability to read electrical drawings and understand panel functionality.

Required education :
Master degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge, with industry application knowledge.
Advanced English language (verbal and written)
Principal duties and responsibilities :
Experience in undertaking system field engineering and start-up activities.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.
Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.
Must perform duties in the office or outside the office as part of a project team.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at both Rockwell Automation and customer sites, including industrial plants, ships, etc.
Provides updates to project manager / project leader pertaining to status of activities, performance to schedule.
May participate in proposal development activities.
Performs detailed system design, both Hardware , Software and Start-up.
May serve as the primary interface with the customer for assigned projects.
Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction.
Interacts with Sales, Project Management, in support of project execution.
Obtains product technical information from other business units of RA as required
Coaches and mentors less-experienced engineers assigned to projects.
May lead contractors on project assignments.
May present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers.
Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
