Manages the client contract and assists with the sales process for CA Services via the Sales Desk function
In the services sales process, finalizes contracting by working with Sales, Technical teams, Contracts and Finance
Makes business decisions that directly affect the department and positively affect the organization’s processes
Develops and implements policies and procedures for the department to meet broad, but specific goals and objectives of the organization
Works with executive management in initiating project related work that impacts functional operations
Works in conjunction with Senior Directors, Project Managers, Consultants and
Architects responsible for implementing products as a single Business Unit multi-product solution and lead that team through the contracting process.
Assesses and delivers contract paperwork that addresses the client's business requirements within the "Scope of Work" agreed to by CA and the Customer.
Assures the continued attachment of professional services to new product contracts and organic growth of the services run rate business within the existing local customer base, in order to attain bookings goals
Partners collaboratively with CA counterparts in Sales, Technical Sales, and Support to ensure accurate gathering of customer expectations during the sales opportunity and effective delivery of accurately scoped engagements that meet client expectations
Supports sales account planning and pipeline management planning activities that assist in identifying new and follow-
up Services and Education opportunities.
Skills & Competencies
Ideally Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a business or technology related field.
Typically 2 or more years of business administration or related experience
Possessing the Skills and Knowledge to understand and use basic functionality of the Systems and Tools necessary to conduct your job effectively
Possesses intermediate comfort level with the ability to overcome a customer or prospect's negative objection
Ability to effectively negotiate terms with an end-user and close the respective business over the phone
