We are seeking an energetic, forward thinking professional to join our Information Technology group in Prague as Identity and Access Management Lead.
This position will act as the primary contact, in the EMEA region, for MSD’s Cybersecurity Engineering organization supporting the US-
based global Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform.
Primary job responsibilities include :
As a key member of the Information Technology, Risk Management and Security organization, the Identity and Access Management Leader will manage the Engineering and Business Enablement functional teams of professionals in Prague to ensure alignment with the global platform strategy.
Provide oversight, leadership and mentorship to the staff, as well as oversee contractor engagements. The incumbent will be expected to build and maintain a high performance team, lead independently and exercise appropriate judgement.
Act as the primary escalation point for EMEA region Identity and Access Management engagements and inquiries.
Gather and understand divisional and site business requirements for IAM services. Maintain active and direct interaction with key customers.
Development of Identity Management tools and services, as well as Certificate and Public Key Infrastructure services.
Assist in the application of system lifecycle practices during IAM design and deployment.
Work with the Global Program leads to enhance overall processes, procedures, and technologies in support of the Identity and Access Management platform.
Perform Vendor / Technology assessments.
Required Experience and Skills :
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in an IT organization with a demonstrated record of customer focus.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in design and development of enterprise Information Security technologies and services.
Knowledge of complete range of identity management technologies including Identity Provisioning, Federation, Authentication, Authorization, Access Management, and Public Key Infrastructure.
Experience in managing manage multiple high priority projects with minimal supervision and promote divisional strategies through the formation and support of appropriate action plans.
Strong collaboration skills, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
The candidate must be self-motivated and act as an effective mentor for staff members.
Solid leadership qualities and work well in a highly diverse environment.
Proven ability to build strong working relationships within their organization and external to their organization.
Aptitude ability to provide strong staff development and oversight.
Familiarity with information security processes, solutions and products.
Desired Experience and Skills :
Proven work experiences in Directory Services, LDAP, PKI, Kerberos, SSL / TLS cryptographic protocols; experience in integrating or supporting any of these standards namely, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, WS-Fed.
Implementation and deployment of identity and access management technologies in highly regulated industry.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Android OS and iOS operating systems.
Industry Security Certification (CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.);
Thorough understanding of IT systems, SDLC principles, and quality practices.
Understanding on laws and regulations relevant to a global life sciences organization (21CFR11, HIPPA, Sarbanes, PCI-DSS, Safe Harbor);
