The Media & Connection Manager is responsible for building winning On and Off-line Media strategies for Danone brands in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia).

In this role you would contribute to identifying the most relevant and effective Touchpoint Mix to achieve brand business targeted results, also forecast and keep pace with constant changes of media consumption and new consumer behaviors in order to adapt and optimize budget spent in across media touchpoints.
As Media & Connection Manager you are responsible for :
building Brand Media on- and off-line strategy and planning in Eastern Europe
developing and facilitating media / new media strategic orientation and, in cooperation with Digital Managers developing digital capabilities within the organization
supporting Marketing team in order to maximize Bought / Owned / Earned Mix for all active Danone brands
challenging Danone media approach vs other FMCG and Food advertisers
leading media negotiations - direct or through media agency (focus on TV and digital)
direct negotiation and partnership management with key media suppliers
managing the cooperation and the negotiation with Media agencies in Eastern Europe
developing marketing team expertise in media and digital communication
direct management of Digital Manager
We are looking for Media & Connection Manager with the following profile :
Experience & Technical Knowledge :
6+ years of professional experience in media management, and / or marketing field (Media Manager, Brand manager with good command of media and digital, Marketing Communication Manager) or in a media agency (Off and On) as an international media supervisor, senior media planer, senior media buyer for more than one country
Relevant experience in context of Eastern Europe
Master’s degree, Business school or University or equivalent
Fluent in English, spoken and written (other EE languages are advantage)
Skills & Competencies :
Good understanding and experience with brand building and platform communication.
Good expertise and experience with media planning and buying (including negotiation), with focus on TV and digital.
Good understanding of Brand Digital Fundamentals across Owned / Paid / Earned, experience with Digital Strategy development and Digital tools management
Experience with communication strategy development and concrete execution of multitouchpoint solutions.
Experience with external partners’ management (partnership, negotiation and sourcing).
Understanding of local media & digital market specifics (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia)
Ability to influence and convince internal stakeholders
Ability to build and develop efficient relationship management skills with external partners (agencies)
