The EMEA Cloud Centre of Excellence is a collective of experts who ensure customers realise the maximum value from their Oracle cloud investments.

The team comprises architects, domain experts and technical specialists. As a CX domain expert you will work directly with customers, advising and guiding them based on your extensive, practical experience and know-

how of CX programs and initiatives - doing it right. You’ll work on pre-sales assignments and solution development right through to client-

billable delivery work and throughout the Oracle relationship with the customer.

It is a very exciting time in Oracle Consulting with our strong focus on cloud solutions using our highly advanced methods and tools.

Industry experience is highly valuable to us and existing Oracle CX application and consulting knowledge is desirable but by no means essential.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

As a CX domain consultant, you’ll be responsible for the design, development and realisation of signature customer experiences brought to life with technology.

A seasoned CX professional, you’ll bring service design prowess and combine your unique approach with Oracle’s industry-

leading tools, techniques and technology for success in the cloud.

It’s probable that you’re working in an end-user company and are hungry to make the leap to a technology company and improve the customer experience for more organisations.

Not a consultant already? Our highly advanced consulting method will help you to make the transition. You must be a keen and fast-

learner with enthusiasm, and someone who embraces the latest technologies. You’ll be working with the most forward-looking, innovative companies in the world, helping them create signature customer experiences.

You’ll create business solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle Cloud and in particular the Oracle CX suite.

You must have deep knowledge and expertise in at least one but preferably more core domains of customer experience : customer acquisition, marketing, ecommerce, sales, service and loyalty.

  • To act as a trusted advisor to senior clients :
  • To develop compelling, profitable and deliverable customer solutions with Oracle and customers
  • To be commercially astute when engaging and advising a client
  • To act as ambassadors for Oracle application solutions throughout a customer engagement
  • Work closely with client, sales, pre-sales and delivery staff to develop a robust customer experience
  • Take full ownership of best practice of your competency area, covering the whole strategic footprint
  • Develop strong relationships with the product lines and in co-operation with the delivery management teams, advise on competency requirements
  • Take full accountability for the solution during a pre-sales opportunity or project
  • Establish strong relationships with your counterparts in Oracle partners
  • Form and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in product development
  • Manage the re-use and knowledge management of your competency area
  • Provide sales awareness to the sales and delivery community within the Oracle Consulting
  • Engage profitably with your counterparts from other parts of the EMEA region
  • Knowledge and Competency Requirements

    Description / Level Requirements

    Education

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Preferably holds a professional qualification (eg accountancy)
  • Able to travel and work throughout the EMEA region
  • Experience / Technical / Professional knowledge

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Over 6 years of demonstrable experience with CX solutions at a customer or consultancy including service design, transformation, business process analysis and functional solutions delivery
  • Strong awareness of one or more CX application products available in the market. Oracle product and solution knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Detailed functional knowledge of major business processes and associated functionality in the CX area of expertise
  • A creative and agile problem-solver
  • Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in design sessions.
  • Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members
  • Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members
  • Outspoken and passionate about customer experiences that exceed business objectives and drive business success for our customers
  • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas
  • Commercially astute
  • Politically-aware
  • Deep, proven experience of your competence area
  • Ability to present an argument : persuasive
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with strong presentation ability
  • Willing and able to travel for project work throughout the EMEA region

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family.

    Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.

    Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

    Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

    May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

    May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.

    Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

    6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.

    Ability to travel as needed.
