Job Summary :
Novartis is currently searching for a Business Planning to join the Finance team in Prague.
Job Purpose :
The Global BPA BEFs & Investments is a member of the BPA team and the financial business partner to the IT Business Enabeling Function Lead and Project & Portfolio Management.
This role provides financial expertise in the following areas : - Planning (Budget, LF, LO, StratPlan) and Reporting - Decision support for Investments -
Value based Performance Management (KPI and Benchmarking) - Productivity & Offshoring
Key Responsibilities :
Drives cost transparency and ensures good understanding of key cost drivers
Evaluates Risks & Opportunities, proactively communicates and makes recommendations for mitigation.
Ensures business partners understand the financial processes and follow internal guidelines / SOPs
Generates ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions Planning (Budget, LF, LO, StratPlan) & Reporting
Leads the planning process from StratPlan to Budget / LF for the supported Service Towers
Leads optimal resource allocation for the Connectivity Tower.

The ideal candidate will have :
University Degree in Finance / MBA / Certified Public Accountant Degree (CPA)
English Requires min. 8-10 years of relevant experience in following areas : - Business Planning and Analyses - Budgeting, controlling and reporting -
Cost management - Performance monitoring (KPIs, benchmarking)
Multi-function project and change management
Strong analytical skills
Ability to think critically, challenge conclusions and underlying assumptions
