Job Summary :
Novartis is currently searching for a Full Stack Engineer, Applied Technology to join the IT organization.
Job Purpose :
As part of an part of an innovative multidisciplinary team you will be the engineering talent in collaborative innovative and agile teams that Experiment, rapidly incubate, and establish to scale digital platforms that deliver value to Novartis in areas like process automation, Cognitive Computing (AI, ML), Block chain, IoT and advanced data analytics.
You will own solutions features and specific components end-to-end ( from ideation to development to ops) . You will engineer solutions by applying a combination of data engineering, data analysis / modelling, visualization, scripting, integration, search and UI / UX skills.
The role encompasses the full lifecycle from ideation to requirements elicitation, design, implementation and rollout of the solutions.
You will work on a variety of technologies and are expected to be a rapid learner.

Develop solutions leveraging new technologies by applying a combination of data engineering, data analysis / modelling, visualization, search and UI / UX skills.
Contribute as part of development and application teams.
Invest your time in building a sound understanding of the key business activities / domains. Provide an ability to think about business processes outside of the technology context.
Drive innovation ideas / discussions and conduct Proof of Concepts with hands on development.
Provide input to project proposals related to new technologies / innovations. Actively engage with business and technical stakeholders in design workshops and prototyping sessions.
Where necessary facilitate and conduct such workshops. Capturing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
Define and conduct user-training sessions, perform day to day support on active use of solutions to drive user adoption of innovative solutions.
Create and maintain documentation per needs.

B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design Exposure to Design Think
Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
Preferably Experienced in multiple technologies like Java, Python, R, React, SQL, AWS / Azure, PHP Preferably Experienced in multiple technologies
Programming Languages : (web / frontend) JS+HTML+CSS, (scripting / backend) JS / Python / Ruby / Java, (databases) SQL
Technologies / frameworks : Node.JS / AngularJS / ReactJS, AWS / Azure, RESTful APIs, MySQL / SQLServer / Oracle or NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB), Git.
